The Los Angeles County Chicano Employees Association (LACCEA) is the premier Latino affirmative action advocacy organization in Los Angeles County, fighting for equal representation for Latinos since 1969. LACCEA has over 2,200 members consisting of Deputy Sheriffs, Firefighters, Probation Officers, Eligibility Workers, Children Services Workers, Doctors, Animal Control Officers, Administrative Staff, and many other hard working men and women employed with Los Angeles County. LACCEA’s primary goals are to provide quality representation for our members in terms of working conditions and promotional opportunities, to advocate for legislation on issues that benefit the Latino community, and give back to the communities that we serve.
